The Active Tag Automated Identification Product Line
Axcess
offers a variety of tags as part of its ActiveTag™
automatic identification product line. They are tailored
to suit a multitude of applications for personnel,
vehicle and asset monitoring and tracking. |
|

|
Asset Tag:
The Asset Tag is a high
performance tag that can be affixed to virtually any asset
(laptops, computers, peripherals, electronic equipment,
pallets, inventory items, and more) for effective, long-range
asset protection and monitoring throughout the enterprise
or supply chain.
Signal transmissions penetrate
walls and obstructions, traveling up to 25 feet within a
typical facility with longer ranges possible in open spaces
such as warehouses and computer rooms. Unique anti-collision
capabilities allow multiple tags to be accurately read simultaneously
such that both the asset and its carrier can be identified
in an automatic, hands-free manner. This allows the asset
to be linked to one or more owners, providing maximum security
with greater freedom of movement.
A tamper feature is available
which triggers the tag to transmit a beacon alarm signal
upon removal. Asset Beacon Tags are also available that
automatically transmit on a preprogrammed timed interval
to assist in the tracking and monitoring of tagged objects
across broad areas.

|
Credential
Tag:
The Credential Tag provides
automated compliance-not-required identification of personnel
for access control, people tracking and resource management
applications. This card can be personalized by affixing
the employee photograph to the tag case.
Tag signals can travel
long distances around and through walls, clothing, luggage,
even people. Multiple tags can be read at distances of up
to 35 feet inside a typical facility, thus allowing covert
monitoring and an aesthetically pleasing installation.
|

|
Personnel
Tag:
The Personnel Tag performs
like the credential tag but is fully potted and thicker
than the credential tag to handle more harsh environments.
This card can be personalized by affixing an ISO7810 size
PVC card or label into a recess in the tag case.
A Personnel Beacon Tag
is also available that automatically transmits on a preprogrammed
timed interval to assist in the location and tracking of
personnel across broad areas.
|

|
Replaceable
Battery Tag:
The replaceable battery
tag is 40% smaller than the standard personnel tag and supports
the replacement of batteries. A panic alarm feature is available
which, at the press of a button, triggers the tag to transmit
an alarm signal.
|

|
Patient
Tag:
The Patient Tag automatically
identifies, locates and protects hospital patients, wanderers
and babies. The reusable watch-sized tags use the existing
disposable wristbands used in hospitals.
The Patient ID tag allows
for custodial linkage of nurses and mothers to infants,
caretakers to patients, or other situations where the need
for linkage occurs. Its uniqueness comes from the ability
to “wake-up” the tag when it approaches a door or other
security control point and to automatically transmit wirelessly
a patient identification number and alarm if necessary.
The system will also automatically
identify patients without disturbing them from distances
of 1 to 10 feet when used in conjunction with the portable
reader. The bracelets can be programmed at time of manufacture
to beacon at set intervals to enable real-time location
and tracking.
|

|
Metal-Mount
Tag:
The Metal-Mount Tag is
designed to be placed directly onto metallic objects. The
tag can be affixed to virtually any asset (laptops, computers,
peripherals, electronic equipment, pallets, inventory items,
etc.) for effective, long-range asset protection and monitoring
throughout the enterprise or supply chain.
|

|
Container
Tag:
The Container Tag provides
a low cost solution for improving cargo container security,
efficiency of movement and tracking capabilities while ensuring
the integrity of the cargo within shipping containers. The
Container Tag is affixed to a container following all the
goods being placed inside. The active RFID tag’s coaxial
leads are inserted through the lock fixture of the container,
arming the tag tamper feature.
If the container door is
opened or the cable of the container tag cut off, the tag
will immediately and then periodically transmit a silent
alert signal. When the tag is read the receiver will pick
up the alert and know that the electronic seal has been
broken, alerting personnel if tampering has occurred to
the container. The tag can have the container ID mapped
to its own ID directing personnel at the port of entry to
that exact container and allow for the rapid identification
of suspect containers.

Universal
Sensing Appliance Tag:
This compact device attaches
to sensors through a wired interface. It interprets the
sensor data and transmits it wirelessly to network receivers.
The events can be recorded, a response generated, and alerts
broadcasted. Using the tag’s programmable processor, this
tag’s feature set can support a wide variety of wireless
applications, such as temperature, motion, pressure, and
much more.
The Universal Sensing Appliance
provides wireless sensor monitoring, thus eliminating costly
cable infrastructure and allows sensors to be used on mobile
assets and in difficult-to-access locations.
|

|
Vehicle
Tag:
An array of vehicle tags
are available, each designed for operation in a variety
of applications and environments. All vehicle tags are optimized
for high-speed reads in vehicle applications such as access
control (residential and commercial gates), equipment racking
and fleet management.
The standard vehicle tag
is a thin profile tag that can be mounted in the vehicle
or carried by the driver for automatic, hands-free vehicle
identification, tracking or access control.
The interior mount Replaceable
Battery Tag and exterior Metal Mount Equipment Tag are both
designed to operate in rugged environments and at extreme
temperatures. Replaceable battery vehicle tag.

IronGate
BioCard:
IronGate™ on-card self-enrolling
biocard™ shares the same compact, secure on-card 1:1 authentication
as Factor4 biocard – yet it will securely transmit its encrypted
data up to 35 feet and even see multiple users in an area.
Making it easier to manage identities. IronGate biocard
is perfect for exterior access control – from a vehicle
to perimeter security situations. Only its unique user can
authenticate the IronGate biocard, which virtually eliminates
identity theft and fraud.
|

|
Factor4 BioCard:
Factor4® on-card self-enrolling
biocard™ is compact, and contains a powerful, wireless rechargeable
power source. Once Factor4 biocard’s on-card 1:1 authentication
identifies its unique user, it wirelessly transmits an authentication
certificate up to 10cm. No other person can authenticate
the Factor4 biocard. Factor4 biocard simplifies identity
management because it is able to hold numerous certificates
of authentication for other access or transaction requirements,
as well as secure documents and digital images. Since only
its unique user can authenticate, Factor4 biocard eliminates
identity theft and fraud. Making identity management easier.
